Job Opportunity: Apprentice to Business Partner – Dreadlocks Specialist

Dreadfully Divine, New Zealand’s leading dreadlock specialist, is looking for a dedicated individual to train as an apprentice with the goal of becoming a business partner under the Dreadfully Divine brand. This is a rare opportunity to master the art of dreadlocks and take over the New Zealand operations while keeping the business running under my brand.

About the Role:

This is not a typical hairdressing job—it’s an apprenticeship leading to full independence. You will start by learning my unique techniques to create neat, long-lasting dreadlocks, with the expectation that by October 2025, you’ll be running the business in New Zealand under the Dreadfully Divine name while I expand to Australia.

Pay & Training Structure Options:

I understand that everyone’s situation is different, so I’m offering three options for you to choose from:

1. Paid Training Model: Lower hourly pay during the training period (first 3-6 months), with increases as you gain skills and work independently.

2. Paid Apprenticeship with Training Fees: A higher hourly wage but with a training fee to ensure commitment.

3. Unpaid Training Period → Paid Role: The first X weeks/months unpaid while learning, then transitioning to a well-paid position once skilled.

Long-Term Goal:

By October 2025, you should be fully confident running the business independently in New Zealand under the Dreadfully Divine umbrella. This is a partnership opportunity, not just a job—you will have the security of an established brand while building your own success.
